I always thought the end of college would feel like a grand, cinematic moment confetti, cheers, hugs, and bright promises lighting up the sky. But standing here now, at the brink of it all, it feels quieter. Like the final page of a beloved book you don’t quite want to close, even though you know the story has to end.

College was never just about classrooms and exams. It was about the stolen late-night conversations, the coffee that tasted more like survival than caffeine, the nervous presentations, and the friendships that somehow feel stitched into my soul. It was about becoming slowly, clumsily, painfully, beautifully.

There were days when I wanted to sprint through it all, wishing for deadlines to vanish and lectures to end. And there were days I wished I could pause time, bottling up the laughter, the chaos, the sense of belonging that came from simply existing alongside people who were, in some ways, just as lost and just as brave as I was.

Now, it's time to say goodbye to the campus paths we know like the lines on our palms, to the benches that heard our secrets, and to the silent companionship of library nights. It's scary, stepping out into a world that doesn’t come with a course syllabus or a map.

But maybe that's the point.
